Ginger Beef Recipe 

Ginger Beef

Ingredients

Grade A Beef 3/4 lb.
Egg 1/2 egg
Salt 1/4 teaspoon
Corn Starch 4 teaspoon
Water 3 oz. + 1 oz.
Vegatable Oil 1/2 wok full (for deep fry)
Green Onion 10 pieces (2 inches in length)
Meat Broth 2 oz. (for sauce)
Pepper Seed 1 teaspoon
Fresh Ground Garlic 1 teaspoon
Shredded Ginger 10 pieces
Sugar 3 oz.
Shredded Carrot 15 pieces
Sesame Oil 1/4 teaspoon
Soya Sauce 1/4 oz.

Marinating Procedure

  1. Mix shredded beef with 1/4 egg and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
  2. Add corn starch, 3 oz. water, 1/4 teaspoon vegetable oil - mix well.
  3. Marinate for at least 1 hr. in cooler.
  4. Add 1/4 egg and 1 oz. water - mix well.

Deep Fry Procedure

  1. Deep fry marinated beef in vegetable oil at 350 degrees F. for 40 seconds. (Stir well)
  2. Transfer quickly to 450 degrees F. vegetable oil, add carrot. After 20 seconds, take out and leave for further cooking.

Sauce Preparation

  1. Heat up wok with a little bit of oil.
  2. Add ginger, green onion, pepper seed, and fresh garlic.
  3. Add 2 oz. meat broth, 3 oz. sugar, 1/4 oz. soya sauce, and stir well for 20 seconds.

Cooking Procedure

  1. Add in the deep fried beef into sauce.
  2. Stir well, add sesame oil.
  3. Remove from heat and serve!
